This Regional Pathways into Math and Science Teaching website is intended to directly serve aspiring teachers at the high school, community college, and university level, and to provide resources for educators and others who work with those students.

- The Aspiring Math and Science Teachers page offers guidance for secondary and college students to start to prepare themselves for a career in teaching. Career counselors and CTE instructors may want to share this information with their students.
- Our Get the Facts Out and Become a Math or Science Teacher presentations provide information on WHY someone might want to become a teacher and HOW to get started in our region. Career counselors and CTE instructors may want to use these presentations with their students.
- Our Becoming a Math or Science Teacher page provides information on regional pathways into math or science teaching. This includes information on:
- UCSC’s Cal Teach program. Cal Teach supports undergraduate math and science students with classroom internship and learning opportunities.
- Teacher education programs at CSU Monterey Bay and UC Santa Cruz.
- Our Math and Science Teachers page offers resources to current classroom teachers to enhance their classroom instruction as well as to recruit and develop aspiring teachers by incorporating peer tutors into their instruction.
- Our Schools and Districts page provides resources for K12 administrators to use to support the success of new teachers.
