Local University Pathways into Teaching

UCSC’s Cal Teach program provides support for undergraduates who want to explore the possibility of becoming a math or science teacher through classroom internships and other activities. Once you have your bachelor’s degree, two local universities offer the chance to earn a teaching credential: California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB) and University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC).
